Chicken Recipe Part 1

Chicken is every meat lover best friend. Chicken comes in many parts, for this recipes... It will be focus on 3 part:

1. Chicken Wings

2. Whole Chicken Leg (Thigh and Drumstick)

3. Half Chicken


We will be giving a single recipe for each part of the chicken part listed, stay tune as this is just part 1. Let's start...


Korean GochuJang Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

To Marinate Chicken:

  • 1 tablespoon of Rice Wine
  • 1 tablespoon of Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

3 Cup All-Purpose Flour (1 Cup for Marinating/ 2 Cup for Frying)

To make the Korean GochuJang Spicy Sauce:

  • 3 Tablespoon of Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon of Korean GochuJang Spicy Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup of Honey
  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil

a small bowl of sesame seed 

a small bowl of sliced spring onion


Cooking Time:

1. Marinate all your chicken wings with...

  • 1 tablespoon of Rice Wine
  • 1 tablespoon of Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

2. 1 Cup of All-Purpose Flour (or Ayam Penyet Hot &Spicy Coating Milk Flour) to your marinated chicken wings and leave it to marinated for 30 mins. 

3. To make the sauce, take a sauce pan. Mix the ingredient listed below and mix it well. 

  • 3 Tablespoon of Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon of Korean GochuJang Spicy Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup of Honey
  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil

4. Place the sauce pan on the stove and warm the sauce in low heat for about 5-10mins. Remember to keep stirring the sauce while it cooks.

5. Next, heat up a pot of oil on the stove.

6. Once the oil starts boiling, turn the flame/ temperature down and fry the chicken for 3mins.

7. Then, take out the fried chicken out and plate it on a clean plate. 

(You may drain the oil by plating the chicken on a piece of kitchen towel)

8. Prepare a plate/ tray of All-Purpose Flour (or Ayam Penyet Hot &Spicy Coating Milk Flour) and coat the fried chicken with a 2nd layer of flour.

9. Next, fry the newly coated fried chicken for 1mins (using back the pot of boiling oil you used previously)

10. Once the timer is up, Take the fried chicken out of the pot of oil and plate it.

11. Pour the cooked sauce into a bowl. Then sprinkler sesame seed and sliced spring onion into the bowl.

12. Finally, Coat the fried chicken in the Korean GochuJang sauce.

13. Your chicken is ready to be served!!



Roasted Chicken Leg

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoon of Salt

1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper

1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

1 1/2 Teaspoon of Paprika

1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin

1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano

1 Teaspoon of Thyme

2 Pieces Chicken Whole Leg


Cooking Time:

1. Preheat the oven at 200 Degree Celsius/ 428 Fahrenheit.

2. Take a mixing bowl and mix all the ingredients below. Mix it well. 

  • 2 Tablespoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon of Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano
  • 1 Teaspoon of Thyme

3. Marinate all the chicken entirely with mixed spices.

4. Wrap an aluminum foil around the mixing bowl and leave it to marinate for an hour. 

5. Once the chicken been marinated, place the chicken in semi cover aluminum foil or on a baking tray.

6. Next, open the oven door and place the marinated chicken (in aluminum foil or on a baking tray) inside.

7. Then, set the timer to bake the chicken for 50mins. 

8. Once the timer is up, take the chicken out from the oven. 

9. Plate your chicken and it is ready to be served!!


Chicken Essence (Half Chicken) ft La Gourmet Pressure Cooker

What You Need:

La Gourmet Pressure Cooker (the Ceramic Pot)

Half Chicken


Cooking Time:

1. Take a mallet or ceramic pestle and hammer the chicken to break all the bone of the chicken.

2. Place the chicken with the broken bones into the ceramic pot.

3. Next. place the ceramic pot into the La gourmet Electric Pressure Cooker. 

4. Close the pressure cooker according to the indicated marking on the cover.

5. After, press "double boil" and then press the "+ sign", just below the indicator. 

6. Once it have been cooked, press the button on top of the lid to release the pressure. 

7. After the pressure been released, open the lid of the pressure cooker and remove the chicken from the pot.

8. Next pour all the chicken essence from the ceramic pot into a bowl.

9. Your meal is ready to be served!!
