Union TradiFood (Cook-It-Yourself Series) provides us with 3 interesting dishes to cook and add to enhance our meals. Time would not matter in this case as we get a delicious reward. 

How do we prepare this meals? 

Simple | Easy | Just Follow the Instructions below:-


Icy Sweet & Sour Pork

The "Icy" part is optional as you can decide if you want to add the icy finishing to your meal


What You Need:

1. Icy Sweet & Sour Pork Vacuum Pack (Pork and Sweet & Sour Sauce included inside)

2. Shredded Ice (or Mashed Ice/ Cube Ice)

3. Optional Toppings

- Sliced Tomatoes (small cubes)

- Sliced Mangoes (small cubes)

- Sliced Onions (small cubes)


Cooking Time:

1. Remove the vacuum pack from the freezer and defrost it.

2. Once it have been defrost, open the vacuum pack. Inside there should be 2 packed items:

- Semi cooked pork in vacuum pack

- Sweet & Sour Sauce

3.Pour some oil into a wok/ pan and open the pork package.

4. Pour the pork into the wok/ pan and stir fry the pork.

5. Pour the cooked pork into a clean plate and placed the wok/ pan back on the stove.

6. Open the sauce package and pour the sauce into the wok/ pan.

7. Cook the sauce in the wok or pan for a minute. Once the sauce is cooked, pour the cooked pork back into the wok/pan and continue cooking. 

8. Optional: Add your toppings into the wok/ pan for added flavoring and fry it for 1-2 mins.

9. Once done, pour the dish into a clean plate.

10. For Icy Effect and Flavoring: Pour the shredded ice into the dish.

11. Bon Appetite! 



Hakka Rice WineDrunken Prawn Ingredients Soup 客家黄酒醉虾料汤

Prawn not included in pack


What You Need:

1. Rice Wine Drukken Prawn Ingredients Soup Vacuum Pack

2. Big Prawn (Washed)

3. Optional added ingredient: Enoki Mushroom (Washed)


Cooking Time:

1. Remove the vacuum pack from the freezer and defrost it.

2. Boil a pot of water on the stove. 

3. Once it have been boiled, place the vacuum pack inside without opening the vacuum pack. Boil it for about 10-15mins (if you have defrost), 15-20mins (if you did not defrost it).

4.  Once it have boiled, cut open the vacuum pack and pour the content into a new pot.

5. Placed the new pot on the stove cooked it till it boils.

6. Pour in the prawns and enoki mushroom (optional). 

7. Let it boil for 4-8mins.

8. Once it been boiled, your meal is ready to be served!!



Teochew Stemed Fish Ingredients Soup

What You Need:

1. Teochew Steamed Fish Ingredients Soup Vacuum Pack

2. Medium Size Fish


Cooking Time:

1. Remove the fish and vacuum pack from the freezer and defrost it.

2. Boil a pot of water on the stove. 

3. Once it have been boiled, place the vacuum pack inside without opening the vacuum pack. Boil it for about 10-15mins (if you have defrost), 15-20mins (if you did not defrost it).

4.  Once it have boiled, cut open the vacuum pack and pour it on the plate with the raw fish. 

5. Placed the fish into a steamer and steam it for 8-10mins.

6. Once it been steamed, your fish is ready to be served!!
