
When we heard the word "spreads", we think of bread and maybe jam or even peanut butter. Instead of thinking of it as a mere spread for our bread, here are some recipes from creative minds from around the world on what we can make with peanut and almond spread.
The peanut and almond spread used is locally made in Malaysia. They offer 2 varieties for each flavor, non-sugar and with sugar.

Method 1: Bread Spread
1. Prepare Butter, Bread, Peanut Spread, and Almond Spread.
2. Take 2 slices of bread, and spread butter on 1 side of a slice bread.
3. Take the other slice and fold it into half, spread equally peanut spread on one half and almond spread on the other half.
4. Bon Appetite!
Option: You can add fruits onto your bread like the image above or eat without.
Method 2: Pancake Spread
1. Cook a couple of pancakes.
2. Spread butter on top of the cooked pancake and add either peanut spread or almond spread on top of the pancake which has been spread with butter.
3. Bon Appetite!
Method 3: Making Vietnamese Roll Sauce
Ingredients: Chopped Garlic, Hoisin Sauce, and Peanut/ Almond Spread.
Vietnamese Roll's Sauce
1. Scoop 1 teaspoon of Hoisin Sauce into a small bowl
2. Then, 2 giant teaspoons of peanut/almond spread into the same bowl.
3. Scoop half a teaspoon of chopped garlic.
4. Scrap the remaining sauce from the spoon into the bowl to not waste any ingredients.
5. Stir the sauce till all the ingredients have been mixed well.
6. Add 2 teaspoons of water to moisten the sauce and continue stirring till all ingredients have been mixed well.
Vietnamese Roll
Ingredients: Vietnamese rice paper and leftover vegetables in your fridge
1. Take any leftover vegetables you have in your fridge. Chop it into tiny slices and place it on a plate.
2. Take a slice of Vietnamese rice paper and wet it.
3. Place the sliced vegetable in the center of the wet paper.
4. Roll the rice paper on all sides.
5. Dip your Vietnamese roll into your sauce and Bon Appetite!

Method 4: Cookies (No Flour)
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup of Creamy Almond Spread
2/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Large Egg
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Cup of Semi-Sweet/ Dark Chocolate Chips
1. preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit/ 170 Degree Celsius
2. Add all the ingredients except chocolate chips into a mixing bowl.
3. Mix all the ingredients inside the mixing bowl.
4. Add 1/2 Cup of Semi-Sweet/ Dark Chocolate Chips into the mixing bowl and mix it again.
5. Place a layer of baking sheet on a tray.
6. You can either scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough or make a small ball of dough and place it baking sheet. Fill around 9 balls of dough on the baking sheet and do leave some space between each dough for the dough to expand in the oven.
7. Bake the tray of dough at 350 Fahrenheit/ 170 Degree Celsius for bout 9-11mins.
8. Once it has been baked, remove the tray from the oven and leave it to cool at room temperature for about 10mins.
9. When you have completed all the steps above, your cookies are now ready to be served!!
Method 5: Cookie (with Flour)
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup of Softened Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup of Creamy Spreadable Peanut Spread
2/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of White Granulated Sugar
2 teaspoons of Vanilla Essence
1 Large Egg
1 1/2 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/3 Teaspoon of Salt
3/4 Cup of Semi-Sweet/ Dark Chocolate Chips
1. preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit/ 170 Degree Celsius
2. Place a layer of baking sheet on a tray.
3. Pour 1/2 Cup of Softened Unsalted Butter and 1/2 Cup of Creamy Spreadable peanuts Spread into the mixing bowl and beat (mix) them together.
4. Add 1/2 Cup of White Granulated Sugar into the mixing bowl and mix them.
5. Add 2/3 Cup of Brown Sugar into the mixing bowl and mix them.
6. Add 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Essence into the mixing bowl and mix them.
7. Crack 1 large egg into the mixing bowl and mix them.
8. Add 1 1/2 Cup of All-Purpose Flour into the mixing bowl.
9. Then Add 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder into the mixing bowl.
10. Then add 1/3 Teaspoon of Salt and fold the ingredients together till a smooth cookie dough forms.
11. Take small bits of the cookie dough and form a small ball. Place chocolate chips inside each small ball of dough and place it on a baking sheet. Repeat this process till there is no space left on the baking sheet.
(Do take note to leave a small space in-between each small ball of dough)
12. Bake the tray of dough at 350 Fahrenheit/ 170 Degree Celsius for bout 9-11mins.
13. Once it has been baked, remove the tray from the oven and leave it to cool at room temperature for about 15mins.
14. When you have completed all the steps above, your cookies are now ready to be served!!

Method 6: Hong Kong French Toast
Ingredients:
Almond/ Peanut Spread
Bread (minimum 4 slices)
2 Eggs
Small Cube of Butter (Optional)
Condense/ Evaporated Milk (Optional)
1. Take 4-6 slices of bread and cut off the bread.
2. Spread the peanut/ almond spread on both sides of the bread, except for the top and bottom slices.
3. Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and beat well.
4. Pour the beaten egg into a deep plate and soak the bread stack on all sides thoroughly.
(If you feel it is not soaked enough, soak it again for one more round!!)
5. Pour a little oil into a pan and fry all sides of the bread stack till golden brown.
6. When golden brown, remove the bread stack from the pan onto a plate.
7. (Optional Step) Serve your Hong Kong French Toast with butter and condensed/ Evaporated milk.

Method 7: Peanut Curry Chicken (Works more for Peanut Spreads)
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup of Creamy Peanut/ Almond Spread
1/3 Cup of Honey
1/4 Cup of Soy Sauce
3 Tablespoon of Canola Oil/ Vegetable Oil
1 Minced Garlic Clove
1 Teaspoon of Curry Powder
1kg of Chicken Wings
1. Cut each chicken wing into 3 pieces.
2. Add the following ingredients into a huge mixing bowl/ a large tray:
1/2 Cup of Creamy Peanut/ Almond Spread
1/3 Cup of Honey
1/4 Cup of Soy Sauce
3 Tablespoon of Canola Oil/ Vegetable Oil
1 Minced Garlic Clove
1 Teaspoon of Curry Powder
3. Mix all the marinade ingredients well and season the chicken with marinade.
4. Cover the marinated chicken wings with foil and leave them in the fridge for 2 hours.
5. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius for 20mins
6. (Option) If you marinated your chicken inside a mixing bowl, do remember to pour it into a greased baking tray after it has been marinated. Make sure to evenly distribute the chicken for it has space to bake well.
7. Bake the chicken wings for 35-45mins or till it turns golden brown.
8. Once you have finished baking the chicken wings, remove them from the oven and plate the dish.
